ENSURING A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE CLUB: MEET OUR MEMBER PROTECTION AND CHILD SAFETY OFFICERS

At Redlands United FC, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all players, families, volunteers, and officials. As we transition between seasons, it’s important to ensure everyone stays informed. If you’re new to the club or returning after a break, please take a moment to read this important update.

Introducing Our Member Protection Information Officers (MPIOs)

We are pleased to introduce Stacey Kirsch and James Brown as Redlands United FC’s Member Protection Information Officers (MPIOs). Both have been involved with the club for years, contributing within the community and academy spaces. Having completed their MPIO training, they are now available to assist in making our club a fair, safe, and inclusive place for all.

At Redlands United, we have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of abuse, bullying, harassment, or discrimination. Stacey and James are here to listen, provide guidance, and direct you to the right resources—whether it’s lodging a complaint, checking your rights and responsibilities, or simply having a confidential chat.

You can reach them at:
📧 James Brown: MPIO1@redlandsunited.com.au
📧 Stacey Kirsch: MPIO2@redlandsunited.com.au

Meet Our Child Safety Officer (CSO): Jill Coen

We are also excited to welcome Jill Coen as our Child Safety Officer (CSO). Jill has a strong history with the club as both a player and parent, and we are proud to leverage her professional expertise as a Clinical Nurse working with vulnerable children.

Jill is the first point of contact for any child safety concerns within the club and is dedicated to ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our young players.

Committed to a Safer Sporting Community

These roles align with Sports Integrity Australia’s mission to maintain safe and fair sporting environments across the country. Stacey, James, and Jill are valued members of our RUFC Wellness Group, which is dedicated to promoting a positive culture and well-being within the club.

We are incredibly grateful for their time and commitment to making Redlands United FC a better place for all. If you see them around the club, feel free to say hello, ask a question, or reach out via email.

Together, we can create an environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued.

For any questions or further support, please don’t hesitate to contact our RUFC Wellness Team.
