Redlands United are pleased to announce that Peter Merefield and Emilie Rochelet will be our Joint Coordinators for ALL Under 9 to 12 teams as well as ALL our Red Teams (U8 to U18) and will Co-Coach our Football Queensland Academy Under 12’s in 2024.
Peter Merefield is a B-License Coach and coached our Under 13 FQ Academy team in 2022 and moved with them to Coach FQ Academy Under 14’s in 2023. He has been coaching since 1996 and has coached Junior NPL/FQA at Redlands United for over 10 years. He has expertly guided so many talented young footballers into our 1st team and beyond. He is well-known and respected in Brisbane football Circles and is hugely experienced.
Emilie Rochelet is also a B-License Coach and has been at Redlands United for 4 years in various roles. She has played for Olympique Lyonnais in France and at Redlands United in the NPLW. Her coaching resume from Australia and overseas includes the management and coordination of Junior Development Programs.
We are delighted to welcome Emilie back from maternity leave. Emilie will continue her role as U9-12’s and Red teams coordinator and will share this role with Peter in 2024.
Redlands United Technical Director, Graham Harvey was excited with this decision. “Emilie has been at the club for a few seasons now and has made a significant impact on our RED program with the results being over 25 players progressing into academy teams. Whilst Emilie transitions back to work she will share this role with Peter Merefield.”
