RUFC FQ Academy Under 18 Coaches

Redlands United are pleased to announce that John Reid and Peter Dunlop will Co-Coach the Under 18’s in 2024.

Redlands United Technical Director, Graham Harvey was excited with the decision.   “I am delighted that John has agreed to come back for another year at Redlands.   John’s wealth of footballing experience is second to none in Queensland and will again prove invaluable for our young players.  It is logical for John to move up from the 16’s to 18’s as he knows many of the players and will drive standards and cultures in this age group which is always needed.    John has clarity around training sessions, and how teams under his guidance will play.  This clarity is again important for U18 footballers to learn the requirements of progressing into senior football and I see no better person to lead this group.

” I am looking forward to watching the duo of Reidy and Pete guide our Under 18 side next season.    Peter has worked diligently at Redlands for the last two years and is a much-valued member of the coaching team.  Working closely alongside his friend and mentor, Peter will benefit greatly from having John’s experience to assist his own knowledge of the game.”

“I know that with these two experienced coaches the next group of young players looking to make the jump into NPL football at Redlands, will be giving realistic coaching.”  Harvey added.
