These age categories are all about having fun and growing a love for the game. Players are recommended to attend at least one term of our Miniroos Kick Off (Little Devils) program prior to joining this competition.
Our U6-U7 inhouse competition is a great introduction to a more structured game format. Teams play a 4v4 game consisting of 2×20 minute halves.
Teams and Training:
Teams of a maximum of 6 players are formed by the club and where possible we do endeavour to form teams so as friends and classmates can play together. Training is held on a Wednesday evening 5.30pm-6.30pm.
Fixtures:
Games are played on Friday evenings 5.30pm-6.30pm. All games will be held at Redlands United FC grounds as an internal competition meaning they play games against other Redlands teams (No travel is required).
Uniform
Playing shirts, game day shorts and socks are provided by the club for members to keep.
Coaches and Game Day Facilitators:
For this age group we do require parents to volunteer to coach and to assist with the organising of the team on games day. All Coaches will have the support of our Community Football Co-ordinator and will be provided with sessions plans to follow if they so wish. Parents who are wanting to be involved are encouraged to do so.
2024 Cost:
The cost of the program is $450 for the season, which includes a full playing kit: Shirt, shorts and socks.
Fee Breakdown is $385.50 to the Club and $64.50 to Football Australia as the governing body of the sport. This component also includes insurance through Gow Gates.
